NSW: Search for man swept of rocks at Port Kembla continues

A search will resume this morning for a man swept off rocks at Port Kembla on the NewSouth Wales south coast overnight.

Police say the man was fishing with friends off an area of rocks known locally as HoneycombPoint when a wave washed him into the sea at about 6pm.

The 42-year-old man from Seven Hills, in Sydney's west, has not been seen since.

Police say conditions were poor at the time the man went missing, with strong windsand a two metre swell hampering rescue efforts.
