Morgantown QB Drenning hot in the cold: State's top-ranked team convincing in rout of University

MORGANTOWN - Chris Drenning's post-game handshake came in the formof an ice-cold grip.

Given the swirling winds and near-freezing temperatures atMountaineer Field, the lack of warmth in the Morgantown Highquarterback's right hand wasn't the surprise.

What astounded was how accurate under pressure his arm had been,and how long it had been allowed to chill like celebratory champagne.

Drenning did little more than hand off after halftime in the top-ranked Mohigans' victory over fifth-ranked University by a whiplash-inducing score of 59-13, and he didn't even have to do that very longinto the fourth quarter.
